A Bajrang Dal activist was murdered in Karnataka's volatile Shivamogga last evening by an unidentified group of people, prompting local authorities to impose curbs as incidents of violence were reported in various areas. The activist was stabbed by a group of 4-5 people who the government in Karnataka says have been identified. Tensions were already running high in Shivamogga over Hijab protests. Meanwhile, Karnataka minister KS Eshwarappa blamed 'Muslim goons' for the murder. The Congress on its part has sought the resignation of state's Home Minister and demanded capital punishment for the culprits. Watch this video for more.
