Watch: RBI to issue digital currency in India from 2022-2023 | Budget 2022

India’s own digital currency will soon be a reality with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announcing the move formally during her Budget 2022 speech. Presenting her fourth Budget, Sitharaman said that the digital currency will be issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in 2022-23. She added that it will give a big boost to the economy.
