Why Priyanka doesn't want PM Modi to share stage with Ajay Mishra | Lakhimpur

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi. Priyanka urged the PM, who is in Lucknow, not to share the stage with Union minister Ajay Mishra 'Teni’. Mishra's son, Ashish, has been arrested in connection with the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri. The Prime Minister is in Uttar Pradesh capital for the DGP conference. “If your intentions are clear don’t share dais with the union minister of state for home. Dismiss him,” Priyanka said in her letter to PM Modi. Ashish Mishra is among the 13 accused in Lakhimpur violence that claimed eight lives on October 3. He was arrested on October 9 & is in jail; all the 13 accused are in judicial custody. The Prime Minister, meanwhile, reached Lucknow after visiting Mahoba & Jhansi on Friday. PM handed over LCH, drones, etc to the three services as part of Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv. After arriving at the Chaudhary Charan Singh airport, PM Modi went to the Raj Bhavan. As per a Raj Bhavan statement, the PM paid floral tribute to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi.
