'Absurd...': Pope Francis' direct appeal to Putin on risk of nuclear war

Pope Francis has made a direct appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine. Pope begged Putin to stop the 'spiral of violence & death' in Ukraine. He also called on the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to be open to 'serious peace negotiations'. The Head of Catholic Church also condemned Russia's annexation of four Ukrainian regions.
