Poland has chosen U.S firm Westinghouse to build its first nuclear power plant. Poland's decision to go with its NATO ally has assumed significance amid Russia's war in Ukraine that has united the West and pushed it further away from Russian energy. The deal is for the first three reactors of the nuclear power plant in northern Poland, which will start producing electricity in 2033. The U.S energy secretary however, called the project a clear message to Russia and warned it against 'weaponising its energy resources'. Watch this video for more details.
