Coronavirus: Donald Trump, Leo Varadkar greet each other with a ‘namaste’

US President Donald Trump switched to namaste amid coronavirus fear. Trump said that India ahead of the curve in combating coronavirus with non-contact namaste greetings. Trump made the statement at a news conference in Oval. Irish PM Leo Varadkar, who is of Indian descent, was also present at the conference. Trump and Varadkar did not shake hands when they met. The two leaders greeted each other with namaste without using the word. Meanwhile, coronavirus cases have spread across 110 countries. WHO declared coronavirus outbreak a pandemic. While, over one lakh coronavirus positive cases have surfaced across globe, the deadly virus has killed more than 4,300 people worldwide.
