An Egyptian man hopes to enter the Guinness World Records with his mammoth handwritten copy of the Muslim holy book. The man is a self-taught dropout who is vying for the Guinness World Records for largest hand painted Koran. Saad Mohammad has hand painted the holy text on a 700 metre paper scroll, which he hopes is the largest in the world. It was a self-funded project.
