Japan mulls developing long-range cruise missiles capable of striking China

Japan is planning the biggest defence spending, since World War, in its budget for the year 2024. This is Japan's plan to counter the Chinese threat after it fired ballistic missiles in Japan's economic zone amid military drills following U.S House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan. As per Financial Times, Japan will develop long-range homegrown cruise missiles that can land in China and North Korea. The Fumio Kishida government also plans to create an outlay for military drills and research of hypersonic weapons. Watch this video for more information.
