US: Monster Storm buries New York in chest-deep snow, 1000s stranded at airports

Over 50 people have died in the U.S. as Monster Storm wreaked havoc. New York and Buffalo cities have been buried in chest-deep snow. AFP reported that many people died in their locked cars as snow covered them. Over 20,000 flights have been cancelled with people stranded at several airports and their luggage piling up.
