No buyers for Pak mangoes as water scarcity hits production; Floods in Karachi

Mango production has taken a hit in Pakistan due to the adverse effects of climate change. High temperatures and heatwave in March have damaged the Mango crop, affecting production by 20 to 40% this year. As a result, the prices have gone up by up to 40%. Depleting ground water levels and dry canals also affected the fruit's production. Meanwhile, parts of Pakistan is reeling under floods. More than 12 people were killed & hundreds displaced as flood water wreaked havoc. Karachi is inundated after incessant rains for the past few weeks. Watch this video to know more.
