Russia ‘honours’ ceasefire as Ukraine shells Donetsk, strikes own with HIMARS

Russia has accused Ukraine of violating the 'self-proclaimed' ceasefire on January 7. Russian Defence Ministry claimed that Ukrainian Army attacked strongholds of Russian forces in Donetsk in the East and Zaporizhzhia in the South. Russia claimed that several cities in Donetsk were hit 50 times with more than 60 large-calibre shells. Russian MOD further noted that it repelled many attacks from the Ukrainian side.
