A Syrian taxi mobile app Mallah hopes to make lives of the residents' easier. The app is similar to Uber and is available in Damascus and Aleppo. The founder, Mohamad al-Mallah owned a radio cab company in Damascus but had to close it due to the 6-year-old war. He had left the country but decided to return to revive his old business and targetted tech-savvy customers. Mallah operates 50 cars in Damascus and 25 cars in Aleppo and hopes to expand his fleet.
