Taliban officially enforces Sharia law; Whips nine women, ten men, 39 times

Taliban has given the first official confirmation that the Sharia law has been strictly implemented in Afghanistan. Taliban officials publicly whipped 19 people including nine women and ten men 39 times each in Taloqan city in northeastern Takhar province. The Associated Press reported that the lashings took place in a mosque for 'crimes' like adultery, theft and running away from home. Watch this video for more.
