U.S. lawmakers have written to President Joe Biden in response to Turkey's blocking of Finland and Sweden's NATO membership bids. A group of 27 lawmakers, both Republicans, and Democrats, warned of "no future support for Turkey." They said that the U.S. Congress can't support the sale of F-16s until Turkey gives the go-ahead to Helsinki and Stockholm's NATO membership bid. Finland and Sweden applied to join NATO last year, just months after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Nordic nations face opposition from Turkey and have since sought to win its support.
