about the video
Mount Etna is located on the island of Sicily, Italy. It has a complex geologic-tectonic history and consists of a series of nested strato-volcanoes, which are believed to be formed about 14,000-15,000 years ago. Mt Etna has the longest period of documented eruptions in the world. The first eruptions at Etna occurred 500,000 years ago and it is still erupting. (Muhammed Asad)
