U.S. troops are facing major risks as the Israel-Hamas war spikes tensions in the Middle East. In the latest, U.S. Navy warship, USS Carney, destroyed missiles and drones in the Red Sea. The missiles and drones were reportedly aimed at Israel and were fired by Houthi rebels from Yemen. "Right now this conflict is contained between Israel and Hamas and we are going to do everything we can to ensure deterrence in the region so this does not become a broader regional conflict," said Pentagon spokesperson Brig Gen Pat Ryder as he announced the attack.
