‘World safe without Zawahiri’: Canada, Saudi praise US for killing AQ chief

Several countries have welcomed the U.S. action of eliminating Al-Qaeda chief Ayman Al-Zawahiri. U.S.' middle east ally, Saudi Arabia, has hailed the CIA for killing Zawahiri in a precision drone strike in Kabul on Saturday. The Saudi Foreign Ministry in its statement said that Zawahiri was responsible for the killing of thousands of innocent people. Meanwhile, former U.S. President Barack Obama has said that the killing of Zawahiri must have given some relief to 9/11 families and to those who suffered at the hands of Al-Qaeda.
