Hong Kong: Chaos ensues after a truck spills millions of dollars into a busy street
Thousands of banknotes worth of more than 15 million HK dollars (about INR 12.5 Crores) scattered on one of Hong Kong's busiest roads in the Wan Chai district in Hong Kong on Christmas eve, after three cash boxes fell out of an armored van. Local television networks said people passing by were scrambling to collect some of the cash before police armed with shotguns and wearing bullet-proof vests raced to the scene. Police urged anyone who picked up the money to hand it over, or risk being arrested for theft.
