Sri Lanka not involved in Indian fishermen killing: Sri Lankan envoy

Sri Lankan High Commissioner to India Prasad Kariyawasam in Chennai on Tuesday said that Sri Lankan Navy is not involved in the recent killings of Indian fishermen who had mistakenly entered the Sri Lankan waters. Kariyawasam met Tamil Nadu state Chief Secretary S. Malathi after an incidence of violence by a ten-member group that attacked a Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple in Chennai as gesture of revenge of the fishermen killings.
