Come summer and the internet is flooded with images of people cooking food on hot streets and grounds. This year, the viral picture is from China where a woman fried fish on a hot car bonnet.

The pictures, tweeted by People’s Daily, China, are from Binzhou in east China’s Shandong province where temperatures hit close to 40°C.

Last summer, a man cooked eggs on a street in Odisha’s Titlagarh, where temperatures touched 45°C. An ANI video showed a man cracking an egg into a pan placed on the road and getting a ready-to-eat sunny-side-up egg in under a minute.

According to an NDTV report, a woman from Telangana’s Karimnagar was shot on video cooking eggs on the ground in 2016.
