BEIRUT: Air strikes carried out by Syrian or Russian warplanes killed dozens of people in eastern Syria on Saturday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group reported. The strikes hit the village of al-Quria in the Deir al-Zor province and killed 47 people there, including 31 civilians, it said.
