1 killed, 2 injured in avalanche in Switzerland
A spokesman for Swiss air rescue forces said a major avalanche has killed at least one person and injured two others in the eastern region of Switzerland.

A spokesman for Swiss air rescue forces said a major avalanche has killed at least one person and injured two others in the eastern region of Switzerland.
Rega spokesman Christian Trottmann said on Sunday that four helicopters were still searching the area near Glarus as it was unclear whether more people were trapped by the avalanche.
He said the avalanche came down south of the almost 2,800 meter (9,200 foot) high Grosser Kaerpf summit. Trottmann had no immediate information on the condition of the two injured.
