The body of Daniel Bravo Mota, 53, warden of Iguala prison, was identified after forensic tests, spokesman Albertico Guinto said on Tuesday, adding that the mass grave, an abandoned mine shaft, was found near Taxco city.

Mota was kidnapped last month along with prison psychologist Ignacio Suastegui Perez by a group of heavily armed men.

A suspect arrested in an army operation confessed that he participated in Mota's kidnapping and that the bodies of both Mota and Perez were thrown into the pit, Guerrero deputy prisons chief Angel Garcia said.
