A powerful magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit northern Chile at 0713 GMT on Saturday, the US geological survey reported.
The temblor was centered 20 miles west (32 kms) northwest of Antofagasta, Chile, at a depth of 30.8 miles (50 kms), USGS reported.
