7 killed in Indonesian train crash

A railway official says a passenger train has slammed into a crowded bus in central Indonesia, killing at least seven people. Dozens of others have been injured.

A railway official says a passenger train has slammed into a crowded bus in central Indonesia, killing at least seven people. Dozens of others have been injured. Adi Suryatmini, a spokeswoman for the Indonesian Railway Company, says Monday's accident occurred at a railway crossing in the district of Kediri, on the main island of Java.

She says three coaches derailed when the train struck the overcrowded bus.
