This will be the first atomic-bombing exhibition outside Japan which will include 38 photos from the August 1945 US atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as 20 items including a destroyed clock and a melted roof tile.

Tsukasa Watanabe, a 77-year-old survivor of the bombing of Nagasaki, will speak of his experience during the exhibition, museum officials said.

The Nagasaki museum has held overseas exhibitions abroad every year since 2005 in such venues as Spain and Belgium.
