WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is seeking to register his name as an entertainment service trademark in Britain.
But this move of his has been described as “bizarre” in the light of the freedom of information lobbying, for which he has become internationally known.
The purpose of the application is to protect his name in public speaking services, journalism, the publication of texts other than publicity texts, and entertainment services.
