Officials at Eton, a prestigious private school in Britain, say they have canceled classes after a student tested positive for swine flu.
Eton College _ whose alumni include Princes William and Harry _ said the school was being closed for a week. A 13-year-old student tested positive for the virus earlier this week.
British health authorities announced 17 new cases of the virus on Thursday, bringing the country's total to 203. The Health Protection Agency said of those, 14 are related to an outbreak at a school in the West Midlands. Two other cases are located in London, and one in the east of England.
Britain has the highest number of confirmed swine flu cases in Europe, but health officials say the cases have generally been mild.
