French first lady Carla Bruni, who was earlier supposed to play the lead role in Woody Allen's new film, will now be doing a cameo in it, says a report.

The film's title, release date and Bruni's precise role are expected to be announced later this week, reports telegraph.co.uk.
Allen has replaced Bruni with Marion Cotillard for his new film apparently due to rumours surrounding Bruni and Nicolas Sarkozy’s marriage that both of them are into relationships outside marriage.
He had said at the time: "Carla Bruni is not a woman who earns her living as an actress. She is a first lady. She could be taken away at any moment by other duties, like a political crisis or an important event. I have to take account of the risks that there could be, and hiring her is far from certain."
