Eleven killed in road accident in Nigeria
Eleven people were killed and 22 seriously injured in an accident on the Gombe-Biu road in Northeast Nigeria, according to an official with the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).
Francis Udoma, the FRSC Sector Commander in Nigeria's Gombe State, told media the accident, involving a lorry carrying 57 passengers, occurred at about 10 pm on Saturday.
He said the driver lost control and veered off the road.
