French military says debris in Atlantic from Air France crash

A top French military official today said there was no doubt debris spotted in the Atlantic was from an Air France flight that crashed with 228 people on board.

A top French military official on Wednesday said there was no doubt debris spotted in the Atlantic was from an Air France flight that crashed with 228 people on board.

"While formal confirmation must still be obtained by recovering debris and carrying out technical analysis, there is no longer any room for doubt," Captain Christophe Prazuck said.
