Verden prosecutors said the man, who was not identified, faces 55 counts of violating German explosives laws for selling the hydrogen peroxide to one of four men who are being tried in Duesseldorf for allegedly forming a radical Islamic terrorist cell that plotted to attack U.S. targets in Germany in 2007.
Prosecutors said on Thursday that such a large order of the chemicals should have raised suspicion of a potential danger.
