Indian diplomat in London dies

Dayanand, head of the chancery in the Indian high commission, died of cardiac arrest in London on Tuesday night.

Dayanand, head of the chancery in the Indian high commission, died of cardiac arrest in London on Tuesday night.

High commission sources said that Dayanand watched the replay of the India-Pakistan Twenty20 final before going to bed, but died in his sleep of cardiac arrest.

A condolence meeting was held in the high commission on Wednesday.
