Seif al-Islam, Khadafi's eldest son, "asked about the health of the Dutch boy and about the treatment he is receiving from doctors at Al-Khadra hospital" in the capital, the agency said.
The boy, identified as "Ruben" by the Dutch foreign ministry but more fully by Dutch media as nine-year-old Ruben van Assouw, is recovering after surgery to his smashed legs.
His mother, father and 11-year-old brother were all killed when the Afriqiyah Airways Airbus A330 on a flight from Johannesburg disintegrated on landing on Wednesday.
Ruben's uncle and aunt have been at his bedside since arriving from the Netherlands on Thursday.
Siddiq ben Dilla, the doctor who operated on the boy, said on Thursday that he was "getting better" and could return to the Netherlands in the next few days.
"His family is with him now," the doctor told AFP. "His memory is good: as soon as his relatives walked in he smiled, and was happy to see them."
