'Kidnapped British, Spanish journalists freed in Somalia'
Two journalists, from Britain and Spain, were released today after almost six weeks' captivity in Somalia's breakaway Puntland state, a senior police official said.

"We're waiting for them at the hotel, but they are free and they are on their way to reach us," said the police official on condition of anonymity.
Staff at the International hotel in Bosasso, Puntland's economic capital, said the pair were in a room and "look in good condition".
The British writer and Spanish photographer -- in the country to report on piracy -- were seized on November 26 on their way to the Bosasso airport along with two Somali journalists who had been assisting them.
