A Pakistani military pilot was killed when a training aircraft crashed in Punjab province yesterday.

A Pakistani military pilot was killed when a training aircraft crashed in Punjab province on Friday.
The aircraft burst into flames after it plunged into an open field in the Gujranwala area. The pilot was killed instantly, the army said.
The cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained. The army cordoned off the crash site and collected the parts of the aircraft.
It is believed the aircraft belonged to the Army Aviation School located in Gujranwala cantonment.
