Russian singer Oksana Kolesnikova has denied any romantic involvement with actor Mel Gibson after reports suggested that their alleged affair prompted his wife to file for divorce. The Oscar-winning star has already dismissed that he was having an affair with Kolesnikova.

The 53-year-old actor’s wife for 28 years, Robyn Gibson filed for divorce in a court in Los Angeles on Monday citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The Oscar-winning star has already dismissed that he was having an affair with Kolesnikova, the TMZ.com reported.
And now the Russian singer has issued a statement in her attempt to clear her name.
“Sorry to hear about Mel Gibson’s divorce. Somehow Oksana is being linked to Gibson’s, but there are no emotional ties between the two that I am aware of,” the statement from Kolesnikova’s representative read.
“Oksana has in the past entertained Gibson with her piano music as he dined at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Yes, I definitely welcome the opportunity to set the record straight, our Oksana is not romantically involved with Gibson,” the statement further said.
