Singapore issues travel advisory after Mumbai blasts

In the aftermath of the Mumbai serial blasts that killed 21 people, Singapore's foreign ministry today issued an advisory asking its citizens there to be cautious.

In the aftermath of the Mumbai serial blasts that killed 21 people, Singapore's foreign ministry on Thursday issued an advisory asking its citizens there to be cautious.

"Singaporeans in Mumbai or intending to travel to Mumbai are urged to take all necessary precautions for their personal safety, heed the instructions from the local authorities and monitor the local news diligently," a foreign ministry statement said.

The ministry further added that it has not received any reports of Singaporean casualties in the blasts.
