"A man driving an explosives-laden car blew himself up in front of the police department in Ismael Khil district at 11 am leaving six people, including two policemen and four students, dead," deputy provincial police chief Guldad told reporters.
"At least 31 others were wounded in the blast," Guldad said, adding "several school students were among the injured."
The police blamed the incident on Taliban insurgents, but there was no immediate claim of responsibility from the terror network.
