Three Tanzanian and six Nepalese arrested for drug trafficking

A Mohamedi Myamisi, A R Ismail and M Mwinyimatatu were arrested from their rented house at Gongabun area in the outskirts of Kathmandu, the police said.
Police claimed to have arrested the Tanzanian nationals on the basis of information given by their Nepali associates who were held during a raid carried out in the house of one Gopi Tamang.
From Tamang's house police arrested four Nepalese women and two men for possessing illegal drugs and dollars. During the raid police recovered 10,600 US dollars in currency notes and 155 gram white heroin capsules being prepared to smuggle to a destination outside the country.
Meanwhile, further investigation on the case are still underway, police said.
