A man was bitten to death by a tiger at the Singapore zoo on Thursday afternoon, an official of the Civil Defence Force said.
The man's identity not known and details of how he died were not yet clear, N. Subhas, a spokesman for the force, told Reuters.
The incident happened at 12.30 pm local time (0430 GMT).
