A 65-year-old man from Thimphu and a 30-year-old man tested positive at the Thimphu Referral Hospital, its superintendent Dr Pandup Tshering said.
"The 65-year-old man has no history of travel. He has a large family but none of them have the virus," Tshering said, adding "Some of his family members are abroad but they haven't returned."
Meanwhile, the influenza-testing centre at the hospital is also witnessing an increase in the number of people coming for tests.
"We get about 10-15 people everyday," said Pandup.
