Dear Zindagi gets U/A, Censor Board praises the film

Alia Bhatt’s tryst with the Censor Board has come a full circle with Dear Zindagi. While the board was severe on her last film, Udta Punjab, this time it has praised the content of Dear Zindagi.
Directed by Gauri Shinde, Alia and Shah Rukh’s next film Dear Zindagi has been given a U/A certification by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with no verbal or visual cut in it.
Alia expressed happiness over it and said, “I am very excited. The censor board has been very kind and sweet with their words. Now, we all are set to release the film to see the audience’s reaction.”
Reportedly, according to the censor board members, it would be a crime to cut even a single scene from Dear Zindagi.
The film, which is going to release in a week, has seen no such signification promotional activity till now.
When the actress was asked, she said, “No, the promotions are going on well. I was shooting in Singapore and have come back recently.We have started with promotions and will do all the little things.”
Dear Zindagi, also starring Shah Rukh Khan, Angad Bedi, Kunal Kapoor and Ali Zafar, will hit the screens on November 25.
