Riding high on the success of his recent film Dear Zindagi, directed by Gauri Shinde, Shah Rukh Khan got an invite from the Oxford University for a talk. Alan Rusbridger, principal of Lady Margaret Hall College tweeted to SRK asking him to deliver a lecture at the college, adding that his students loved the Bollywood star.

The invitation can be seen as proof of the growing popularity of Indian artistes overseas. From foreign TV shows to movies and academia, they are now much sought after.

SRK is yet to reply as it will be tough for him to take out time with Raees releasing in January. He has earlier delivered speeches at Yale University, University of Edinburgh and has also received two honorary doctorates from the University of Bedfordshire.
