On Tuesday, while the entire country was busy swooning over Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after watching the teaser trailer for their upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, comedian Sapan Verma made an observation no one else did.
[Every Ranbir Kapoor movie poster shoot.]— Sapan Verma (@sapanv) August 29, 2016
DIRECTOR: "Pretend that Ranbir cracked a hilarious joke!" pic.twitter.com/FJZbFB2y7O
Now that looks legit.
The posters for his films Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (2013), Tamasha (2015) and now Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) look strikingly similar. Ranbir looks at the ground while the lady beside him laughs as if he ‘just cracked the most hilarious joke.’ There is a blurry background and nothing really is conveyed through the poster except maybe that the couple is having a good time.
Sapan Verma’s tweet has been retweeted more than 800 times and the Facebook post has been shared 1400 times.
This, however, is not the first time he has brought the funny side of things to light. Here are a few more of his hilarious gems:
Bobby Deol played Gupt songs as a DJ and people asked for a refund.— Sapan Verma (@sapanv) August 25, 2016
I would've asked for it had he NOT played Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela.
I mean, why would you expect anything else? It's like going to a Baba Sehgal gig expecting him to sing Coldplay songs.— Sapan Verma (@sapanv) August 25, 2016

Another auto guy tied a rope to this auto and pulled it to a garage.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil marks Karan Johar’s return as director after 2012’s Student of the Year (he was also one of the four directors for 2013’s anthology film Bombay Talkies).
