The State Bank Of India (SBI) issued a notification on Friday for the recruitment of 255 officers in specialised positions for wealth management in the state-run bank on a contract basis.
The notification, CRPD/SCO-WM/2016-17/21, can be viewed in the careers’ section of the SBI’s website.
The selection of candidates for the job will be based on short listing and one or more rounds of personal interview. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their qualification, experience and overall suitability for interview.
The qualifying marks in interviews will be decided by the SBI. The merit list will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in the interview.
The online registration process starts on Friday (March 24) and the last date for registration of application and payment of fees is April 10. Candidates can register online through the bank’s website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in and pay the fee using a debit card or credit card, internet banking, etc.
A candidate should check eligibility conditions like age, educational qualification and experience for the various positions offered in the notification as they vary from one position to another. A candidate can apply for more than one post separately.
Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the post they are applying as shortlisting and interview will be provisional without verification of documents.
As the job will be offered on a contract basis, either side can leave it by giving three months’ notice. Selected candidates may be posted in one or more of the following places: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Indore.

Central research team: 4 vacancies
Acquisition relationship managers: 21 vacancies
Relationship managers: 120 vacancies
Relationship manager (team lead): 15 vacancies
Investment counsellors: 25 vacancies
Customer relationship executives: 65 vacancies
