Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is turning out to be epic. Even though there is almost a year before the film releases, the slow trickle of information towards a largely thankful media has ensured the film is continuously in news.
Now, it is out turn to meet the bald and brand-new Lex Luthor. The actor who hit pay dirt playing Mark Zuckerberg on The Social Network has been cast as one of the most enduring villains of comic-dom and we like the looks of him. Film's director Zack Snyder is quoted as saying, “He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” says Snyder, “other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.”
He tells us more about the cold-eyed villain. “Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake,” says Snyder. “He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”
Luthor has been played by Gene Hackman in Superman: The Movie, Superman II, and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. Kevin Spacey essayed the role in Superman Returns.
