A 4-year-old boy was allegedly sodomized by a man in Macheran area here, police said on Wednesday.
35-year-old Intezar lured the boy to his house on Tuesday by promising him candies and then sodomized him. Hearing the boy’s cries, his parents and local residents rushed to the house and found him covered in blood, police said.
They beat him up and handed him over to the police. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 377 (unnatural offences) of IPC and POCSO Act.
