Mumbai man gets 10 years in jail for selling ganja
Mumbai city news: Samuel Joseph Vira and his associate Dinesh Sunderlal Shahu were arrested in 2015 for possessing ganja in commercial quantity.

A sessions court on Tuesday sentenced a man to ten years rigorous imprisonment, and his aide to two years rigorous imprisonment, for possessing Ganja in commercial quantity.

The accused were identified as Samuel Joseph Vira and Dinesh Sunderlal Shahu. They were arrested in 2015 in Worli by officials of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Crime Branch.
Vira was found with 22 kilograms of Ganja and Shahu was found with two kilograms of Ganja. They were also fined Rs1 lakh and Rs20,000 respectively.
“Our team ensured that the trial went swiftly and was completed within two years time,” said Ninad Sawant, unit head of Worli ANC.”
