When you are a designer, it’s your show and you can do whatever you want, but let’s all just agree to call a spade a spade, and take these moments and outfits for what they are, which is really, really weird. The MAISON the FAUX presentation of CHUBBY CHASER during New York Fashion Week in Manhattan, for instance, had not your usual models, and some not models at all, walk the ramp. (REUTERS)

Chromat, a six-year-old Brooklyn-based athletic and swimwear brand which has outfitted some of music’s fiercest ladies, including FKA Twigz, Nicki Minaj and yes, even Queen Bey herself, has never been shy about its commitment to diversity, sensuality and, of course, putting on a good show. Dramatic styling in the form of massive face jewellery, full, natural hair and bright eyeliner emphasised the show’s hyped-up energy. (REUTERS)
